National Co-op Month is here and we're excited to kick-off a month-long celebration that represents what Prairie Food Co-op has been bringing to the Lombard and surrounding area for years. We have an exciting new PROPs partner this month, will once again be participating in Spooktacular, will host a popular canning workshop in partnership with Helen Plum Library, and, to celebrate our 3rd Year Anniversary of selling Ownership shares, will be giving a special gift to our October Owners! 

Every October Owner will receive one of our new Prairie Food Co-op tote bags! These are roomy, sustainable, 100% rPET recycled tote bags from Bagito. Each bag is double stitched for extra-strength, can fit on your key chain, are visually appealing, and Bagito donates a meaningful percentage of their sales towards teaching K-12 students about environmental stewardship. Did we mention they're beautiful? 

We have so much going on in Co-Optober so join the celebration by making this the month you become an Owner if you haven't yet. By becoming an Owner, you help support our mission to bring a community-Owned grocery store that focuses on selling locally produced, transparently labelled food and goods that keep more of the profit in our community.
