Prairie Food Co-op Community Grocery

PFC Board Candidates 2024

This year, there are four (4) positions up for election to the Prairie Food Co-op Board and three (3) candidates. With both incumbents and previous Board members running, we are impressed by the breadth of qualifications and experience these candidates bring to the mix. Please check out each candidate and cast your vote!

Voting will begin at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 21st and will close at the conclusion of the PFC Annual Owners Meeting on June 9th.

All PFC Owners will receive an email with their ballot and simple instructions on how to cast their vote by May 21. Make sure you check your spam folder if you don't see it in your regular email. If you don't receive an email ballot, please email our PFC Board Secretary, Gerry Haptas.

Practicing Co-op Principle #2: Democratic Member Control
Cooperatives are democratic organizations controlled by their members, who actively participate in setting policies and making decisions. Representatives (directors/trustees) are elected among the membership and are accountable to them. In primary cooperatives, members have equal voting rights (one member, one vote); cooperatives at other levels are organized in a democratic manner.
