PFC Is Cancelling All In-Person Gatherings

Prairie Food Co-op’s top priority is the health and safety of those in our community, including you and your family. While the full impact of COVID 19 is uncertain, Prairie Food Co-op is cancelling all live in-person events, meetings, and outings through May 1, 2020.

We are working on alternatives to some upcoming events and meetings like our PFC Board Candidate Forum and our PFC Owner Meeting and will keep you informed.

We are so grateful to all of you for continuing to support our cause of creating a community-owned grocery store and we want to do what we can to help "flatten the curve" by promoting social distancing.

To help our community stay connected during this difficult time, we will be posting videos and hosting live virtual events on a variety of topics. Our first live virtual event will be:

Join us for a fun Q&A session with Chef Crystal Echevarria of Culinary Confidante. Not sure what to do with the food in your pantry? Or what spices to add to a certain dish? Get answers to whatever burning/roasting/flambéing questions you have!

Potential upcoming topics include bread baking, soup/stew making, reusing kitchen food scraps to make broth, and more!

We’d also like to hear your ideas for topics you’d like to see covered as well.
