Why are you interested in serving on the Prairie Food Board of Directors?
I had previously served on the Prairie Food Co-op board for several years before stepping down to pursue a degree in Environmental Science and Sustainability. I have since completed my degree and would love to rejoin the board to contribute to helping us not only open the doors to our beautiful new store but to ensure our store thrives after opening day. I am very passionate about giving our community the opportunity to have local, sustainable food while keeping the money in our local economy.

Employment: Please tell us about your Past or Present Employment
I am currently the Conservation@Home Program Manager at The Conservation Foundation. In my role, I encourage and empower individuals to make meaningful environmental impacts in their own yards and green spaces by meeting them wherever they are at in their experience and knowledge level. I provide free yard consultations, certify eco-friendly yards, and provide educational programming throughout the community. In my previous experience, I was the Marketing Director for an adventure travel company as well as a travel guide. I believe I have developed relatable skills from my current and previous roles that are relatable to the work that is required for the PFC board.
