Geneva Lakes Produce is a family owned and operated vegetable farm. Started in 1987 by Scott Koster and now run by Scott and his sons, Jordan and Corban.
Raises cattle on pasture in the fresh air and sunshine who receive no drugs or growth hormones. In addition to beef, they raise pigs, chickens, and lamb. Hassellmann Farm is at the Palatine Farmers Market, and they now deliver monthly to Chicago, Oak Park, Evanston, Highland Park, Arlington Heights, and NW suburbs.
Joe’s Blues are naturally grown. There are no pesticides or chemical fertilizers used at any time. Our emphasis is on building rich, composted soil that not only feeds the bushes, but also fights off pests.
Incorporated in November of 2010. Our first market appearance was April 23, 2011 at the Wheaton French Market. Presto Pesto has participated in 13 different Farmers Markets for both 2011 and 2012. We are planning on only having 8 Farmers Markets this year. Our mission is to mass produce our high quality pesto products, while keeping the quality where it is, and sharing these pestos around the World. We offer the "World's Finest Pesto", salsa, garlic delicious pickles, made from scratch soups, and our soon to be famous pesto pizzas made with our own special recipe pizza dough crust. Bon Appetit!

They also operate a kitchen and gourmet foods store just over the border and sell seasonal wild mushrooms, homemade dips, spreads, salsas and more! You’ll find their wider variety of offerings at over 25 markets, including Green City, Oak Park, Evanston, Logan Square, Andersonville, and others in the city and suburbs.

Our motto is “Tastes Good, Good for You, and Helps the Greater Good.” Their bean soups, salads, and sides are nutritionally-dense, naturally vegan and gluten-free, have no artificial ingredients or preservatives, and are complete and easy to prepare. Their products are packaged with pride by the developmentally challenged. They produce a beautifully distinctive, hand crafted product while earning money, developing fine motor skills and building self-esteem. They also donate product to feed those in need.
A small urban farm on the south side of Chicago. We run an urban CSA program, a Compost Club food-scrap collection program, and offer rooftop "Dinner Dates" catered by professional chefs in addition to the wheatgrass, microgreens and produce that we bring to the Faith In Place winter farmers markets.
