Hello, the prepared food section contains a LOT of items in plastic and in particular, black plastic. This is a huge turn off for a health and environmentally conscious consumer (which is probably the bulk of shoppers). In particular, it is concerning that the soups are in plastic as hot foods increase the possibility of plastic chemical additives leaching out of the container and into the food. What would you think about as a start, to package the to-go soups in glass jars? This would be a distinguishing feature for the coop. Possibly customers could return empty jars to be washed and reused as well.
