Thank you so much helping GROW our co-op and help push us closer to our 800 Owner goal that allows us to move forward with securing a site, hiring a General Manager, and launching our capital campaign. Volunteers play a key role in hitting this goal!
We have scheduled the next Harvest Fun + 1 Party for Monday, February 26 at 6 pm - 8:30 pm. This date is contingent on event space availability. If it changes, we will be sure to let you know. We have several areas of volunteer needs to ensure this event is as successful as our first.
- Calling Owners. We need 20 - 30 volunteers willing to call (and/or text) Owners to tell them about this event. This is the most critical piece to ensure this event is a success. This can be done on your time, over a 2-3 week period. We will provide a call script and training, as needed. This is an easy way to make a big impact!
- Event Help. We need 5-10 volunteers to help set-up for the event, during the event, and tear-down after the event ends. The expected time-frame is 4 to 6 pm for set-up, 6 to 8:30 pm for help during the event, and 8:30 to 9:30 pm for tear-down.
- Event Invites. We need ALL Owners to start thinking about which interested friends, family, and neighbors to invite to our next event. This is the perfect opportunity for non-Owners to learn more about Prairie Food Co-op. We will again offer trivia, cash bar, food (maybe taco bar?!), and raffle prizes along with a short presentation on the benefits the co-op will have on our community. Please sign up for a packet of invites to hand out! You will receive the invites about 4-6 weeks prior to the event.
