Prairie Food Co-op is at an exciting moment as we wait for the Village of Lombard to complete the process of approving one of the two remaining development bids for the 101-109 S. Main property in Lombard.

We are unsure how long this process will take so we can't tell you when the final decision will be made. 

What we CAN do is update our Owners on what our next steps and milestones are. We have not been shy about the fact that we will always be accepting Owners even after the store is open, but we still have another Owner milestone to hit before we can begin our next stage, the Capital Campaign. 

We are also inviting our Owners to come hear the details about our next steps from our Outreach Coordinator, Jerry Nash, and how we intend on raising the capital needed to open the doors to OUR community Owned grocery store, presented by our Capital Campaign Coordinator, Jess Buttimer.
