Spooktacular & Pumpkin Contest with $15 Learning Express PrizePrairie Food Co-op will have a booth at this Sunday's Spooktacular in downtown Lombard. We'll be handing out Organic lollipops and having a Pumpkin Decorating Contest.Volunteers Needed - We can use a few helping hands at our booth this Sunday. If you can help, please sign-up here. Pumpkin Decorating Contest Rules: Either submit a picture of your decorated pumpkin to [email protected] by Saturday, October 18 OR bring your pumpkin to our booth. Pumpkins and photos will be displayed at our table during Spooktacular. Attendees can visit our table and vote for their favorite decorated pumpkin. Winner receives a $15 gift card to Learning Express. Winners need not be present to win. |

Free Movie Night!Chicagoland co-ops are partnering to offer an all ages free screening of "Food For Change", an award-winning documentary focusing on food co-ops as a force for dynamic social and economic change in America. The event takes place at Jaks Tap in Chicago next Wednesday, October 22. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about food co-ops and to meet others working to open food co-ops in their Chicagoland community. Plus, we hear that Jaks has amazing food, including a great vegetarian chili. More details here. |
